It seems that the same dilemma occurs in pretty much every democracy at some point. People get tired of voting. They are tired to vote the lesser of the (in many cases) two evils. Eines gleich vorweg: Ich bin ein Mann und schreibe daher oft aus einer männlich dominierten Perspektive. Aber schon während meines Studiums habe ich mich mit Fragen des Gender-Mainstreamings befasst und hinterfragt, warum so wenig Frauen in führenden Positionen zu finden sind. From a European perspective, the election campaigns for the presidential elections this coming fall seem to be a little bit ridiculous. Both, Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump are probably running against the only candidate they could beat.
